Moving and Storage in Odessa, TX
Odessa Superior Movers handles moving and storage in Odessa, TX for the times your move-out and move-in dates refuse to line up. We load your home once, seal it in wooden vaults inside our 12,000 square foot warehouse and bring it out again the day you get keys.
When Do You Need Moving and Storage?
Any gap between leaving one place and getting into the next. A closing that slips, a new build running late, a transfer before you have found a house, a remodel that went long. In our experience half of these gaps last under three weeks. Storing with your mover means one load and one delivery, nothing in between.
A self storage unit means you move twice: once into the unit and once out. With us the crew that packed your house is the crew that delivers it, and nobody unloads a storage unit in 105 degrees. Easy call.
How Our Storage Works
Think of it like a feed barn: what you need last goes in the back. Your things stay in the same vaults from loading day to delivery day.
Loaded Into Vaults
Furniture and boxes go straight into wooden storage vaults at the warehouse. One vault holds about one room.
Sealed and Labeled
Each vault is closed, tagged with your name and listed on your inventory so we can find one box later.
Stored Indoors
Vaults sit on racks indoors, out of the sun, sand and spring wind.
Delivered on Your Date
Call with a date. The same vaults come down, onto the truck and into your new house.

Types of Storage We Offer
Short Term Storage
A few days to a few weeks, usually between a closing and a move-in. It is our most common storage job, and we have seen a lot more of them since lenders started pushing month-end closings into the next month.
Long Term Storage
Months or longer: families on overseas assignments, people renting while they build in Gardendale or West Odessa, estates waiting to sell. Terms run month to month. We have households in our warehouse right now that have been there 14 months, and some that will leave next week.
Storage-in-Transit for Long Distance Moves
Moving across Texas or out of state with nowhere to land yet? We hold the load until the new house is ready. It stays in its vaults, so nothing is unloaded and reloaded somewhere along I-20.
Palletized and Oversized Storage
Pieces too big for a vault, like sectionals, gym equipment or a pool table, go on pallets on our racks. Business furniture and equipment (FF&E) for offices and clinics is stored the same way.
Warehouse Storage vs Self Storage
A self storage unit is cheaper by the month, but you do the loading, driving and unloading twice. Warehouse storage costs a little more and your belongings are wrapped once, stored indoors and handled only by the crew that packed them. If you ask us, for anything under two months warehouse storage usually comes out cheaper.
Moving and Storage FAQs
Can I get something out of storage before delivery?
Yes. Call us a day ahead with the item or box you need. We pull the vault, and you can pick it up at the warehouse or we bring it with your next delivery. That is the reason we list what is in every vault on loading day.
Is my stuff protected in storage?
Your belongings sit inside our warehouse, monitored around the clock. Basic released value protection applies, and we explain fuller coverage options with the quote. Keep jewelry, cash and important papers with you, not in storage. We tell every customer the same thing.
What can’t go into storage?
No food, plants, ammunition, gasoline, propane, paint or other flammables. Mowers and anything else with a gas engine have to be drained first. Everything else in a normal household can go in, from the crib to the deer mount.
Every Move Includes

Your Move Is Our Priority
“My husband works a 14 on, 14 off schedule out of Pecos, so I booked the whole move from my phone. They packed the kitchen the day before and had us in the new place in Midland before he got home. Not one dish broken.”
Marisol R.Odessa to Midland “Three guys, one truck, a 4 bedroom brick house off Grandview and my mother’s upright piano. Wrapped everything, strapped it like they meant it and were done by 3. The bill matched the quote to the dollar.”
Dale W.Odessa “Our closing got pushed back two weeks. They kept our whole house in their warehouse and delivered it out to Gardendale the day we got the keys. Easy.”
