Apartment Movers in Odessa, TX
Odessa Superior Movers are apartment movers in Odessa, TX for studios, one and two bedroom apartments, duplexes, rent houses and other small moves. Two movers, one truck, billed by the hour, and the price on paper before anybody lifts a box.
How Long Does an Apartment Move Take?
Two of our movers usually clear a packed one-bedroom apartment in Odessa in two to four hours, door to door. A two-bedroom takes four to six. Second-floor walk-ups, a long walk from the parking lot and a kitchen nobody packed all add time.
Save the parking spot closest to your stairs, and find out if your complex has move-out hours or a gate code. Got a gate code? Text it to the crew lead the night before.

Types of Small Moves We Handle
Apartment and Duplex Moves
Complexes near UTPB and Odessa College, newer apartments along Loop 338 and older duplexes near downtown. Honestly, gate codes, parking and breezeways cause more delay than furniture, so we plan for them first.
Rent House Moves
Odessa has a lot of rent houses and the leases turn over year round. We move renters into and out of houses across town, and we know how tight an end-of-lease deadline can get. Last month alone we did 11 rent house moves on the 30th and 31st.
Oilfield Worker and Temporary Housing Moves
Field crews often start out in an RV, a furnished rental or company housing, then move into a house once the family comes out. Those moves are quick, and we fit them around your rotation.
Single Items and Small Loads
A couch from a store, a bedroom set from a relative, or a few pieces to a storage unit. Small moving jobs are billed by the hour like any other move.
Tips for Apartment Moves
Reserve the elevator or loading area if your building has one. Pack everything in boxes, even the small stuff, because loose items slow the crew down. Take photos of the empty apartment for your deposit before you hand back the keys.
What Makes Apartment Moves Run Long
The furniture is rarely the problem. The clock runs on everything around it: the walk from the truck to your door, the stairs, the elevator that three other tenants also booked, and the boxes that are not packed yet when we knock. In our experience a one-bedroom on the second floor with everything boxed takes about three hours. The same apartment half-packed takes five.
Ask your complex about loading zones, move-out hours and whether they want a certificate of insurance. Some newer complexes along Loop 338 do. Clear a path from the door to the stairs, break down the bed if you can, and have someone at both ends with keys. That alone can save you an hour of crew time.
Moving Out of an Apartment for Good
Buying your first house in Odessa or Midland? We move you out of the apartment and into the new place the same day, and can hold furniture in storage if the closing slips.
Apartment Moving FAQs
Do you do small moves?
Yes. Studios, single rooms, a few big pieces. Small moves are billed by the hour with a three hour minimum, which covers most one-bedroom apartments in Odessa when the boxes are packed and stacked by the door.
Can you move me on the last day of the month?
Yes, but the last few days of each month book up first because that is when most leases end. Call two to three weeks ahead for a month-end date, or pick a mid-month or weekday date if your lease allows it.
Every Move Includes
- A written quote before the truck rolls
- Pads, shrink wrap and straps on every load
- Claims handled by our own office
Your Move Is Our Priority
“My husband works a 14 on, 14 off schedule out of Pecos, so I booked the whole move from my phone. They packed the kitchen the day before and had us in the new place in Midland before he got home. Not one dish broken.”
Marisol R.Odessa to Midland “Three guys, one truck, a 4 bedroom brick house off Grandview and my mother’s upright piano. Wrapped everything, strapped it like they meant it and were done by 3. The bill matched the quote to the dollar.”
Dale W.Odessa “Our closing got pushed back two weeks. They kept our whole house in their warehouse and delivered it out to Gardendale the day we got the keys. Easy.”
